Caffè Barbera proposes their Bio Blend

Boom in Organics in Italy

The world of food is becoming more and more organic, above all in Italy, where the growth rate of all organic food products rose sharply in the early months of 2015. Record growth levels in sales confirm Italy as the leading country in Europe for producers and amongst the first five countries for organic agriculture, with over a million hectares dedicated to organic farming and 48,000 certified agricultural workers. It is, therefore, no surprise that the consumption of organic products, above all food products, has seen a similar increase.
Investors in the sector, as would be expected, follow a similar trend, keeping up with ever increasing consumer awareness of products whose origin and quality are certified from the start of production, through the working of the product, up to the final phase of packing. Organic foodstuffs, therefore, are rapidly conquering world markets, an inverse trend compared to the overall trends seen during the economic crisis.
In the world of coffee roasting, there are also those who have decided not to sit on the fence but rather set out to satisfy market trends. Caffè Barbera, always attentive to quality and consumer and client needs, has just launched its latest blend, Bio, made from coffees coming from organic agriculture, where natural methods of growing are practiced, fully respecting the eco-system and safety of workers. It is an eco-sustainable choice which impacts on the fair trade community, as the coffees used all have fair trade certifications.
Caffè Barbera offers the Bio blend in two varieties, for two types of clients: ground Moka Bio, for customers who would like to enjoy the traditional taste at home: Bio beans, for the Horeca sector or for those who use professional machines, at home. Both products come in elegant coffee cans which, apart from guaranteeing better food safety and preservation of aroma and product characteristics, are also recyclable and reusable. A product line, therefore, which is organic and green, from every point of view.
Once again, the Barbera company is looking ahead and is ready for what is to come, following or anticipating market evolution, fully satisfying customer needs, which tend more often to be organic choices.
